The Hinton Avenue UMC Chancel Choir performs weekly during the 11:00 worship service. Under the direction of Gary Bibb and pianist Anna McMillen, the choir offers both traditional and contemporary pieces. The choir is open to any and all who wish to sing out the glories of the Lord!
If you are interested in more instrumental music, the Handbell Choir may be just right for you! All we require is you know your left hand from your right and you can count to four! Ringers of various experience come together once a week to practice with our three-octave set of bells and two-octave set of handchimes. The Handbell Choir often rings together with the Chancel Choir, providing an extra-special time of worship and praise.
For kids who are not yet ready for the Chancel Choir, the HAUMC Signing Ministry provides a place where kids can come and learn up-beat contemporary Christian songs along with the American Sign Language signs that go along with the words. The kids then perform the songs during worship service on select Sundays.
